Implementation Specialist

Sync POS, St. Louis, MO

As a member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for managing a variety of projects from beginning to end. This includes working closely with our customers as you program their databases, stage and install equipment, provide training at both the management and server level and respond to on-going support needs. Typical work hours are M-F, 8am – 5pm with some after hour and weekend support as required by business need.

Required Qualification:

Great attitude, including a demonstrated willingness and ability to perform as business need dictates. A “get it done” person.

A general understanding of the internal operations of restaurants. For example, a former restaurant manager who desires more stable and normal working hours and has an inclination for technology.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in restaurant or hospitality point-of-sale systems along with knowledge and skill in working with today’s web and cloud based mobile technologies. A project management mindset with the ability to juggle many projects at once will be needed to complete customer and business goals each month. A college degree is preferred.

Field Service Technician

Sync POS, St. Louis, MO

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Field Service Technician who will cover the St. Louis metropolitan area and, from time to time, an extended territory outside the metro, while servicing our Restaurant POS customers. This position will include the installation and support of our non-restaurant point of sale devices.


  • Provide technical computer support onsite, as well as on the phone, for Point of Sale workstations and peripherals. This may include credit card machines, surveillance systems, and other devices.
  • Extensive Microsoft system troubleshooting including virus removal and recovery.
  • Deliver technical computer troubleshooting and service peripherals on various POS computer workstations. For example: swapping printers, displays, keyboards and power supplies.
  • Perform Customer software/system upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and repair computer network communications.
  • Assist with POS computer hardware installations: clients, servers, networking equipment, structured cable and coax.
  • Manage and support technical service calls while in the field, dispatching to POS computer service calls throughout the territory.

The ideal candidate has:

  • A desire to work “on call” to be able to assist when needed most.
  • Solid computer and troubleshooting skills; hardware, software and networking.
  • 2+ years technical support experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Windows applications.
  • Excellent customer service skills, detailed, organized and able to multi-task.
  • A good driving record and personal auto insurance.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  • Restaurant experience is a plus.
